Did you know that the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod operates the largest Protestant school system in the world? The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod operates schools throughout the United States, in China, India, Canada, Indonesia, and more to serve children and their families from birth to eternity!
There are 280,426 students in 2,488 Lutheran Schools throughout the United States.
“Average” Student/Teacher Ratio:
Lutheran Elementary School ≈ 15:1
Lutheran High School ≈ 14:1

Did you know that Lutheran schools have been educating children for more than 160 years in New Orleans? Our first Lutheran school began operation in 1840 and many opened soon thereafter.
